Volunteer

Give back. Earn hours. Make healing happen.

Volunteering here isn't envelope-stuffing. Every role produces something a real person receives — a filled canister, a translated resource, a note in someone's handwriting.

Why volunteer with Soulfully

Small actions, but the countable kind.

Whether you're a student earning service hours, a creative who wants to use your skills for something, or someone who simply cares about this — there's a place here.

  • Verified volunteer hours and digital certificates you can use for school, work or personal record
  • Flexible options — in-person community projects or fully remote roles
  • Hands-on experience building real mental health initiatives, not busywork

Opportunities

Four ways to spend the time.

Pick one, or tell us you'd rather do all of them.

RemoteFlexible, per resource

Translate mental health resources

If you live between two languages, you already have what Language Lifeline needs. Help adapt wellness materials so they land in the communities that need them — not just parse.

  • Translate a short wellness resource into your language
  • Review someone else's translation for cultural fit
  • Flag phrasing that technically works but wouldn't be said out loud
In personOne session, 2–3 hours

Assemble Care Canisters

Come to a packing event, or run one yourself. Tubes, hygiene essentials, socks, a handwritten note — a room full of people and a very satisfying pile of finished canisters at the end.

  • Join a packing session near you
  • Collect empty tubes or supplies for a drive
  • Help distribute canisters alongside outreach partners
Remote or in personA few hours a month, term-time

Campus ambassador

Represent Soulfully where you study. Run awareness campaigns, table at org fairs, activate your community and connect student groups to the work.

  • Table at your school's involvement fair
  • Run one awareness campaign per term
  • Bring a Care Canister packing event to campus
RemoteProject-based

Create & connect without borders

Digital volunteering for anyone, anywhere. Design, write, organise, or simply put pen to paper for someone who will read it on a hard day.

  • Design on-brand graphics and campaign material
  • Write notes of encouragement for Care Canister recipients
  • Support outreach, research and community listings

The journey

From signing up to hours in writing.

Six steps, and the last one is the part your school or scholarship board cares about.

  1. Explore

Read through the roles and find the one that fits your time, your skills and your patience level.

  2. Apply

One short registration form. Tell us what you'd like to work on and roughly how much time you have.

  3. Get matched

We confirm your role, send the materials you need, and point you at the next session or project.

  4. Do the work

Pack, translate, write, organise, show up.

  5. Log your hours

Submit what you did. We verify it against the session or project record.

  6. Get it in writing

Verified service hours and a digital certificate you can hand to a school, a scholarship board, or an employer.

We only certify work we can actually verify.

Verified hours & digital certificates

Hours are confirmed against a session or project record — a packing event you attended, a translation you submitted, a campaign you ran. That’s what makes the certificate worth handing to anyone.

If your school has a specific form or portal, send it to us with your submission and we’ll complete it.

Register

One form. Then we’ll be in touch with what’s next.

Tell us what you'd like to work on and roughly how much time you have.
